| Now available on our website is the s|w|A|p ecard tool! You can send a "real" digital small | world | ART | project postcard to your friends and send greetings from the small world. So you can easily call attention for the small | world | ART | project! Have fun with sending our ecards! We hope to be able to spread the small | world | ART | project idea by this means. Until now 252 people have participated with small | world | ART | project and we got postcards from over 90 countries. | |

On the 15th of March seventeen fascinating postcards from the french artist Jean- François Aillet reached us: All postcards show people collecting sand all over the world for his project "Le Solitaire...des marées". The goal of his collective artwork is to collect 7000 sands in order to 1. Create a place of sands from all the world. 2. Collect enough silicia to make the glass that will be used to realize the diamond at the top of the architecture. At http://www.aillet.com/video/Cellier2007/FLV2/JFAMSM2007FILM2.htm you can see a video of his project! Everybody is invited! If you want to be part of it you just have to select a beach and collect 1/2 a liter of sand. Have a picture of yourself made while the collecting. Indicate where you are from and the place where you collected the sand. After that: Send your sand and the pictures to: Jean- François Aillet. Further information you can find on his website www.aillet.com. We like the idea of Jean- François Aillet, because it makes our world smaller, or better, getting together, that's why we want to recommend this challenging project! |
